It seems like I get asked all the time about veganism and how one can start the process. For starters, I don’t want any newbie spending any money on getting started and luckily there are so many free resources out there that there’s no excuse not to start and becoming vegan has never been easier! I also acknowledge that veganism is not just about food. It goes down to your clothing, toiletries, cleaning products, etc. as well and in those categories, I have you covered as well 🙂
Once you become accustomed to making vegan food and would like to build on that, I definitely suggest buying a few vegan cookbooks. I currently have enough vegan cookbooks to the point it is filling up a whole wall (possibly two) in my rather large office and I don’t see my collection slowing down anytime soon! Two legends in the vegan cookbook world are Sarah Kramer and Isa Chandra Moskowitz. I have a tendency to buy everything they put out 😉 You’ll notice in my blog that I review many cookbooks and I do have favorites along the way (like Chef AJ!) so make sure you subscribe to my page so you never miss a post!
Hopefully as this page grows, I will have this section more updated and organized. If you have any updates or information that you would like to see on this page, please email me and I’ll take care of the rest 🙂
